The broad bowl really lets a bold red open up and breathe—I noticed a clear difference in how smooth the wine tasted compared to my old glasses. They feel substantial but not too heavy in the hand.

The tall stem keeps my hand well away from the bowl, so the wine doesn't warm up while I'm sipping. After a few minutes the aeration really opens up the nose on a young cab. These have replaced my old glasses completely.

I didn't expect the wide bowl to make this much of a difference, but my usual cabernet actually tastes softer and less harsh after a few minutes in the glass. The rim is thin enough that sipping feels effortless.
